About us

The name Ellya Norah was born when I went for a vacation to Italy with a group of friends, where we gave each other Italian-style nicknames.

Starting small in the beginning with my bohemian chic bracelets in 2010, soon I added necklaces, and a few years later in 2015, it began to itch and intuitively felt good to broaden my horizons. Together with my husband Jan Schrijver who was founder of the Dutch brand Gsus we started designing a series of gorgeous printed female shawls.
